i have an obsession with flip flops. i have a pair in every colour and wear them 365 days a year. now you probably think i live somewhere warm and dry, well you'd be wrong.... winter is cold and wet and sometimes there is snow, yet i still put on my flip flops and leave the house. yes i'll waer a coat and gloves and scarf but forget about the boots and socks. my friends think i'm mad. is there anyone else who does the same? when should flip flops be put away till summer?

I think that when fall arrives, the flip flops need to be retired for the year. This also depends on your climate. I do know some people who wear flip flops all year long, but when it is thirty degrees outside, I think there are better shoe options.

i wear flip flops around my dorm in the winter and occasionally to the gym in the winter, but never during snow.
i hate when my feet are cold, it makes me whole body freeze.
i try and wear my flipflops to the very last day of semi-warm weather though,
i know how ya feel!

i also love flip flops and wear them year round. part of it is because i hate wearing shoes as they make my feet hot and sweaty even in winter. flip flops are the least restrictive type of footwear, the next best thing to going barefoot which i also enjoy doing
luckily where i live the winter is rather mild and we rarely ever get snow. so wearing flip flops in winter here is not that big a deal, a few other people do it too.

well, mine go up when it hits about 50 degrees or so, but i can't stand to have cold feet, so... but I.LOVE.FLIP.FLOPS!!! if i lived in warm weather year round, i would wear them year round, it drives my husband crazy!! he doesn't like the sound they make when you walk, so i try to get ones that aren't as loud!
