Another wasted rental :-(

Last night we tried to watch this movie - What Love Is. After about 20 minutes we were about to turn it off, but I figured it would get better because one of the people in it hadn't been on yet. So we waited, then the rest of the people showed up and we watched for about 45 minutes all together and just gave up. This movie was so stupid and all anyone did was yell about how unhappy they are in relationships - except two people, a gay guy and a ditzy blonde.
I thought we were done with the horrible movie rentals :-(

Sorry you got a bad Movie last night. There is nothing as bad as this. You give it a chance only to be more frustrated and annoyed when it gets worse.
This happened to us at the movie house. It cost us a fortune to take the children a few years ago. A lot of people got up half way through it and left also. I cannot even remember the movies name.
At least it was just a rental and not a family outing like us. I hope your next movie you watch is a lot better viewing. Take care.

Today we got Santa Clause 3 in the mail. It's wasn't as good as the first too, but was still a good movie.
It's so expensive to go out to the movies now that it would be horrible to hit a bad one. I rarely go to the movie theater any more.

Cuba Gooding Jr was the main draw, and that's probably the main reason I put in on my rental list. I read the reviews today for it on Blockbuster.com - not many people cared for it...

That happens to me quite often. I rent a movie and keep thinking its going to get better. One time I kept fast forwarding through one. Stopping every so often. I ended up fast forwarding the majority of the movie because it was boring.

Sometimes we'll just suffer through it to see if it's going to get better, but just talk through the whole thing. Not this time, it was ejected and put in the envelope to go back to Blockbuster.
