in india present education system very dangerous. the standard of the education is decreasing continuously. the working hours for the students also increasing. the schools shows the high pressure on the students for their acadamic records and for the increasing their popularity. and the schools are also taking the huge money for the acadamic year. for example for a student to join in english medium school in middle level school, he have to pay minimum 50,000/- for joining.

That seems to be a hefty price to pay for tertiary education. In Singapore, the general education standards are rising every year. This applies to all levels. The younger education have to pick up more subjects and within the subjects itself has more to study than before. Technically, what I used to learn in year one of Secondary school may now be taught in the final year of Primary 6. We are fortunate here as our government placed great emphasis on education. Education is largely subsidised by the Government. However, the workload of students are increasing and some shows signs of stress over school work.
As the Singapore brand had made its mark on a global level, there are companies setting up private institutions here that offers sub-quality educational standards. These companies engage syndicates overseas to attract students from more well-off families to study in Singapore. As I have spoke to many foreign students, I got to know that these syndicates either never promote schools that are recognised by the Ministry or they claim those quality institution as "not recognised". These syndicates get a commission level as high as 40% of the total fees paid by the student. Therefore these syndicates are going for the commission rather than validating the quality of the institution they affiliate with. Many of these students only realised that the certificates that were to be issued to them are not recognised by most of the employers. When I asked why they do not apply directly to the recognised institution, they replied that the entry requirements are simply too high and therefore they have to seek such alternative despite the high cost.
I feel sorry for these foreign students being blinded by the syndicates. Therefore, I would like to use this opportunity to recommend 2 online sources to check on recommended insitutions in Singapore.
