Acutally, I don't like hostel life! It is sort of scary and boring! Maybe, the hostels here are quite different!

I stayed in a hostel for around 3 years and many things I learned from there, first is sharing with others who are not your family. Secondly in hostel life you come out of your coccoon and find that life is there even outside home and by sharing and good will you can make another home as well. Thirdly you become independent as you have to look after your needs as well. I feel for some time every person should stay in a hostel that makes a person confident and ready to face the world.

I like living life on my own house than in a hostel. Yes we do meet different people there but for it is like you are in a box with very small space to move in. I want my own place with a garden and all. It makes me have more space for me and my family. I think a hostel is good for single people.

You sure have brought back fond memories of my hostel life to me. I stayed in a hostel for 5 years just after finishing my graduation and man was it fun!! I got my first job in a place which was 4 hours travel from my hometown. Although I used to be home saturday evening and start back early monday morning, I loved staying in the hostel. Oh yes, the food wasn't very good, but it was good to complain about something to people who shared your views. Since I was the only child for my parents, I used to get bored at home but in the hostel, it was like I had a lot of sisters and friends around me all the time. Although I tried for a transfer back to my hometown, I still felt bad when I had to leave the hostel. Wonderful carefree days!!
