What are you doing this holiday season?

I was just wondering what people are doing to make this holiday season special. Are you traveling out of you area? Where are you going? Are you spending the holiday with family or friends? Are you keeping it small and staying home? Are you spening extravagent amounts of money this year?
Are you excited for the holidays? What holiday do you observe?
I am celebrating christmas, but I am staying home instead of flying across country to see family. I am still excited for the holidays though and expect them to be great this year!

There are a couple of questions like this in this forum that I have answered but I would like to add that I am still not sure about the plans for the upcoming holiday season.
I would really like to spend time with the family which includes my husband and son.
It is a peaceful time of year and it is nice to be around that we are closest to.
My son is looking forward to the holidays and often asks about Santa Claus. I basically am looking forward to the holidays because of my son.
