i think being a rebel means that u dont care about what others think about you, being yourself. be different in some away... stay out of the crowd, be unique. be independent, live by your own rules ( and that can be a bad part, or a good one, it depends on each person) live in your own world, and never give up on your beliefs. being able to go through everything bad about you ( like gossip, fcked up stuff you did in your past...)

Yes! Just like that, that iw what a true rebel is! Live in your own world, be your own man, independent, sitting on your own horse so to speak. Taking what people say about you, and just living your own life. Absolutely, that gives you best response congratulations.

Well there are a few different things that can mean a rebel. A rebel without a cause, a war rebel... even a war rebel, rebel against or for war? Rebel, usually is someone who does not conform, who rebels...
As for me, I'm a rebel against what people think of me... well what my old friends did / may still do. I did a lot of growing, and I learned that I needed to just be myself, be true to my roots... and that means I lost some friends who were all about the fake me.

yes it does, being a rebel means to be not one of the crowd, but to have your own ways, your own beliefs, your own way of life, to trust in only you.

Breaking away from the mainstream, not caring what's "socially acceptable". Of course, people tend to automatically assume these sorts of people are bad. Some are, but you have good and bad in EVERY group.

very true, someone who doesn't believe in one thing, but believes in their own light of something. it doesn't make them bad, just different thinker, we are all unique, and people criticize this factor all the time.

I don't think a rebel can be self-proclaimed. I found out recently in a friendly chain email that my friends consider me to be a rebel. I guess that they just see me as one of those "outside of the box" kind of people. I don't like trouble and I don't like being forced into an group or school of thought. I think being a rebel means thinking for yourself inspite of mainstream opinoins.
