My first car was a Ford Tempo

Do you know that "tempo" is a Latin word for "time." I should have known it when I bought the used car...it actually means, "It's gonna take some TIME to get to your destination."
Anyone else own a Ford Tempo? What are your thoughts?

It looks like a mazda 323 or a midge. Small hatch back. But i have to add that it has 289k kilos on the clock and never gave any problems.

My first car also was a Ford Tempo, I loved that car, it had problems but I was proud to own it. I had it a couple months then got into an accident and totaled it. But yeah anyways I loved my car, I prefer Chevy's cause they last longer, my second car was a chevy it lasted a couple years (it was used and old) now I have a Dodge, we'll see how that goes...lol... thank you for letting me share. Ford has got three things to offer: safety, built quality and engine's life...rest depends on the driving conditions and care you do for your car...make sure to have it serviced on regular basis, becasue spare parts are quite expensive for Ford and negligence will cost you more...take the insurance and warranty cover for saving your expenses due to some bad incidents
