Imaginary Friends are pretend charaters, they are mostly created bu children. Most imaginary friends are only there as gurdians for the children and they just help protect them. Imaginary friends exists for mostly for childern but sometimes they last throughtout adult-hood. Although they may seem real to children, studies have proven that children do understand that they are not real.
So the big question is, if children do understand that imaginary friends are not real thn why does it, sometimes last throughout adult-hood? Did you ever had an imaginary friend and when did you stop believing in them or do you still have have a imaginary?

I pretended to have an imaginary friend but I didnt really have one. In 3 or 4th grade a kid I played with had one. So we made up one for me so that his friend could have a friend lol. I'm not sure if he talked to his imaginary friend at home or not. He didn't really have any friends and he was kind of weird so he might of. I only did it to play when I was at recess with him.
