My primary doctor thinks my migraines and vertigo (MAV) are psychiatric!

My primary doctor thinks my Migraine Associated Vertigo is psychiatric, and is treating me and doing blood tests for such! She didn't bother to tell me first that some of the blood tests from when she ordered me to have blood work done were for the tentative diagnosis of anxiety, and she obviously didn't bother to consult with my headache specialist, the one who diagnosed me with Migraine Associated Vertigo, FIRST, BEFORE having the tests done for General Anxiety Disorder. The ONLY way that I found this out was this morning I looked at the lab-request forms and saw Diagnosis: ANXIETY, and asked the phlebotomist some questions. I asked her why I was having blood tests for anxiety, and she asked me if I am taking an antidepressant. Yes, I am taking Lexapro, but that is for MAV...NOT for depression, General Anxiety Disorder, or any other psychiatric disorder! Even during the last time I had a talk with my primary doc, she asked me if I have any psychiatric disorders. I asked her why she asked, and she said it is because I am taking Lexapro. I explained multiple times to her why I am taking Lexapro, but that obviously went on deaf ears. I had the blood work done anyway because this primary doc had threatened me with discontinuing me as her client if I did not have the blood tests done. I need a primary care doc for insurance and other reasons, so I felt I had to comply with her demands. I am mad as a hornet's nest, as MAV is definitely NOT psychiatric, and am ready to fight back and need hints, help, and advice on what exactly to do. I already emailed my headache specialist and am waiting for replies, and am now wondering if I should check myself into the nearest psych ward the next time I get a migraine or bout of vertigo. I also left a voicemail message with the National Headache Foundation, and am waiting for a reply back from them. Any suggestions and ideas, anyone, on what to do next?
