As long as Tendulkar plays well and be in the top of the game, I don't think a reason for Tendulkar to stop playing cricket. Age is not a factor as long as he is in the top of the game. For example, take Jaysuriya. He is nearly 40 years of age and still playing good cricket. Similarly, as long as Tendulkar plays the game well and know what he is doing, I think he can play and still open the batting innings for Indian in one day International matches.

Its high time that Sachin hangs on his shoes and give youngster a chance to perfom for the country. No doubt that Sachin has sweated all his cricketing career for the country, but now as his age is growing and injuries taking longer time to heal, its evident that he cannot perform as he could do so earlier and it was honestly confirmed by the little master himself. It would be a great thing that he retires himself when he has lots of respect and attention rather than being forced to leave the game on the performance basis. Do you agree?

Let me tell you, Sachin is very much around, and he is not the guy who will duck himself away like Saurav Ganguly or Marcus Trescothick of England who have openly conceeded to the fact that they retired due to the frustration they had to face. But you and all can see the guts of Sachin. He was the hope-carrier of the whole of India in his prime days. But he is still loved equally even though there are the likes of Dhoni or Yuvraj. There was a time when the whole of Indian batting would collapese like a pack of cards after Sachin's dissmisal. But you will have to admit to the fact that inspite of losing century after century in 2007 and many half centuries, he still is around. Because he is a true cricketer who does not score for records. So, its the records who are following Sachin and not Sachin who follows the records. Dosn't matter for Sachin, to stay in the team still longer when he is seeing his fellow batsmen hanging their shoes. He will retire with pride time comes. WE DON'T NEED TO SAY THAT!
