why all the parents didn't permit their children mainly the girls

because it gets dark and creepy, and very dangerous people start coming out to play why, a girl can get kidnapped, raped, impregnated, beaten, cut to pieces and/or sent home in several plastic bags before dinner is ready on the same day. Veeeery dangerous out there, stay safe

Its a traditionalist's point of view I guess. Even in this modern world with concepts such as women empowerment, there are still people who think that women can't defend themselves. That's why they should be home early as oppose to boys.

For their safety. It depends a little on where you live and what time of year it is, but most parents want their kids home before dark. After dark, all those weird, dangerous people seem to come out of their caves and things get more scary. I grew up in an incredibly safe neighbourhood, but still hurried home before dark simply to be a little more careful.

This has happened to me countless times mostly from my father, as I am a girl =] he is very protective since I am the youngest, the "baby". The reason I think is just that, being protective of your offspring, of your babies. To parents we as children never truly stop being their child. It's an act of nature even if it is annoying sometimes. But, with time the parenting slows down more and we are allowed to go off on our own longer than 5 when the sun starts to set, well in the winter anyway.

Because there are bad guys in this damn world who might abuse u or harm u in anyway...my friend
