Yesterday I was going through a couple of posts, where the members, have reached 500posts, and there was the usual congragulatory stuff, but at the same time, a couple of members were asking whether these posts have nearing their first payout. Is it a fact that you will paid the first payout only after reaching 500 posts. Kindly let me know.

You don't have to reach the 500th post just to reach your payout! It took me a 150 post only to achieve my first payment! We earn on the quality of our post and not on the number of our post. Even if we have created a 1000 post or more but it is of no quality, definitely it won't be enough for us to reach our payout. I can do a 100 or more post answering only yes or no but this won't give me the same earning I will earn with just posting a few quality post. Don't be dismayed by those claiming they reach 500 post but still haven't reached payout. We earn base on our capability here and you have to rely on your own if you really want to reach the payout.

You reached your first payment in only 150 posts is really amazing.
I mean did you write more of a descriptive type or what? And yes, on which interests did you vote your articles more? Was it MyLot or Writing?

I am relatively new here but it is nothing like that... Not required to have 500 posts for a payout..

If I remember correctly, I got my first payout even before I reached 300 posts. This was because I had a very active referral who also made lots of posts and I got something for her discussions too. Cheers!!

Thanks for the response, I think the active referrals also helps in the total payout. Now I have to find someone to join under me so that I can get some referral amount.

welcome to mylot. welcome to joystick as well.
it does not take so much time to get a payout. it depends on the activity you have in mylot. i am nearly 700 at mylot and am waiting for my third payout. actually the number and payout have no relations.
