I would most likely try to ignore it but if I couldn't I would then react in two different ways depending on the gender.
1. If it was a male, I would make it obvious that I have a fiance. Maybe twittling with his class ring, or my engagement ring.
2. Get away from the person, and if they followed... then I would quietly allow someone to know I was being followed. We live in a very small community and everyone is nice here, so if I were to tell someone that I was being followed, most likely, something would be done.
Those are of course if my fiance is not around me at the time.
Now if he is, then I would tell him and he would most likely give the guy an evil look.. lol.
Now if it were a female,
1. I would probably just ignore it.

It really depends on the kind of look the other person is giving. There are some looks that are fine and innocent but there are some looks that gives me discomfort. As long as it does not gives me discomfort, I am just ignoring it. If the looks gives me discomfort, I will meet the other person eye to eye just to make them realize I don't like it if this won't work, I will the attention of that person. Here in our country,it is rude to stare to the other person if (1) he/she is a stranger to you and (2) he/she is older or superior than you.

i have been in such situations all the time whenever i go out...and the funny thing is that i aint even pretty that people would stop in their tracks and stare at me.... and i also dont have a sticker on my forehead saying "look at me"
so i used to keep wonderind and still do wonder why all these guys keep staring at me..... and now it is girls too.....
just the other day i went pubbing with some friends and it was so obvious that most of the men were staring in our direction....i let it go as they maybe staring at my friends too and dint really pay any attention but after a while my friends themselves started telling me that there were people staring at me ...so i asked them if anything was wrong with me...as in my dress or my face or my hair.... but everything was normal....
but when find a person staring at me even after he knows that i have noticed him i would either go up to him (if he seems talkable) and ask him why is he staring at me ... point blank...
and incese if the person if not so talkable then i would either ignore him if im in a restaurant or i would get up and leave if i was somewhere where sitting there wasnt all that important !!

I would assume that I just look familiar to them. I would tolerate it for a while as they try to figure out if they know me from somewhere. If it persisted to the point that it made me uncomfortable I would probably just remove myself from the situation.

I put up some sort of wall like hide behind my hand or move to another location and sometimes do something to make them want to look away. I hate that because its like you can feel their eyes drilling into you

hi krishna!
well, if i saw for the first time that a person is looking at me, then i would just look away if i don't know the person. but the second and third time that i look at the person again and he or she is still looking at me, then i would look at the person hard with questioning look on my face. sometimes, i would even raise my eyebrow. because i am thinking why is the person looking at me that way? even if i look funny, i think it is rude to look at a person for a very long time.
so i do that. hehe good day and God bless you ! :-)

Hello, krishnarjun003.
If I noticed somebody that I don't know staring at me, I'd probably get a bit scared. I mean, it might be a robber or a thief, or something like that. That would be my first thought. If it was a female, I would think that she had a crush, lol. But if it was a male, I'd have to leave where I am and find somewhere else to be. I'd also try to talk to somebody known, which wouldn't make me stay alone.
Respectfully,
Munhozmib.

It depends on the situation I'm in and where I am. Once in a grocery store I had a guy staring at me and following me closely. He even followed me into the checkout lane and was standing much too close to me, invading my personal space. I'd finally had enough of it and turned to him and told him to either back the F off or I'd start bashing body parts. LOL He got the message and left. Sometimes if someone is just staring for no reason I'll look them in the eye and say "what are you staring at?"

Ohh a lot of times, it happens to us. Whenever I'm alone or with my husband, there would be a person (different persons from different places) who would stare at us, and we just ignore them though we feel a bit annoyed. sometimes, my hubby is tempted to ask them "What's your problem?, Anything wrong?"... I guess if it happens next time, I would be the one to ask that person who stares at us...

thats so easy. i am going to confront him or her and ask that person the reason why he or she is staring at me. atleast i would know the reason in an instant and who knows we could be friends too. but ill be careful too maybe this person is also dangerous. i wouldnt know if i wont try right?

Probably that someone is up to no good. I would probably get out of the situation immediately and shake off the creep. But if he or she continues to stalk you, I think its a good idea to fight back somehow. Take a picture of him with your cellphone or something and or report him or her to the authorities.

i'd most likely just walk away. it's not good to stare at people. so he's not doing me any good. besides, i wouldn't want to stare back. i might not want to discover what he's staring at or what he's staring me at for.

At first,I would think if my face is not washed. Then if he/she found I have noticed him, maybe I would stare at him in return. And if he does not seem offensive,I would smile to him...

Well if someone is staring at me for quite a long time i will just smile at him or her at once. Then if he/she smiled then he or she will know that i am aware that i notice her/him smiling at me. If he/she did not stop maybe i will give a short snob at him/her. Sometimes people are staring at us because they are thinking that we have known each other for sometime. Me too sometimes stares at people who looks familiar to me. But when i noticed that the person is being conscious about me staring at him i stopped.
If still she / he did not stopped approach him and say hey how are you and why are you staring at me?
