Man Utd defeated Blackburn 5-3 in a match that saw Man Utd put up a great performance, despite having young players dominating the starting line-up. Gibson and Possebon were partnered in central midfield and Evans was given the central defensive spot.
Tevez scored four goals and proved to Sir Alex how good a striker he is despite being left on the bench for so often since Berbatov's arrival.
Arsenal, on the other hand, lost 2-0 to Burnley, and Arsene Wenger fielded the side the young team which he claimed was so much better than Man Utd's. He was proved wrong.
Did you watch the match? What did you think of the performance of the young players? Who was Man Utd's best player in your opinion?

I don't have access to EPL matches on TV, so I did not watch the match. I only saw the result on a TV news channel. The thing I admire about Man U is its strength in depth. Ferguson has many quality players at his disposal, and in a grueling league like the EPL plus all the cup games and Euro championships, injuries and suspensions will take a toll on a team in the later stages of the competition. United certainly has an advantage here because Ferguson can rely on a sufficient pool of great players to field his team as the competition progresses. His substitutes are also quality players. It's good he gives his raw and young players exposure to the game to build them up. I think any player who can put on a United shirt will rise up to the occasion and do the club proud on the field.

The key to Ferguson's success over the years is his ability to maintain balance and depth in the team. He tries to have a balance of players with various playing styles, balance of youth and experience, balance of players who are hungry for first-team places and players who are willing to sit on the bench and do his best when called upon, and etc. This win has proved to other team in EPL that Man Utd has some very promising young players.

Hail Tevez the bomber! Hahaha...there's no other better way for him to remind Ferguson on how good he is. Man Utd's fans really missed his action throughout this season as Ferguson always preferred Berbatov ahead of him.Perhaps Ferguson will have a headache to select his first team after this. It still lingering in my ears what the commentator said after he scored the last goal, "a world class finishing from the top international player". With Ronaldo being suspended for this week game, hopefully Tevez will receives a chance to demonstrate his ability one more time.
