What Portable e-Book Reader Do You Recommend?

I'm considering buying an e-book reader, so that I can transfer e-books to a portable device, and read them wherever I go. I'd like to get one as cheap as possible, but also get one that can accommodate virtually any/most e-book formats; what kind do you recommend me getting?

i do recommend that portable reader but i guess the price still expensive. i can't wait of that stuff that someday the price would drop.
