Thought this might be interesting. On the day I was born Jim Morrison, lead singer of The Doors, was found dead in a bathtub in his Paris Appartment supposedly from a Heroin overdose. That day was July 3, 1971. I think that was the biggest headliner for the day I was born.
Did anything interesting happen the day you were born? What was it and when?

Thirteen days after your birth Sally Ride became the first American woman in space aboard the space shuttle Challenger. Not on your birthday but pretty close to it lol. twelve days after that India won the Prudential Cup (cricket world cup).

wow that is interesting. and your birth was overshadowed by the news. but well, your birth was the best news for your parents, i am sure, so i guess that is what matters.
well, on my part, not really, i don't think there was a great headline when i was born. if you were born july 3, i was born just a few days after you, a few years later. hehe
i don't recall my parents telling me that something big really happened on my birthdate. but interesting thing you shared here.

I don't think my parents were thinking about Jim Morrison that day either lol. Dad was in Worms, Germany anxiously awaiting word of my arrival while mom was in Harrison Arkansas having me. My dad was stationed in Germany at the time of my birth so he did not get to see me till me, my mom and two older brothers joined him there when I was 3 months old. Dad was in the army.

whoah... that must be a "not so good" day for Jim Morrison's family and fans...
but for your family, it was really a great day, having you at that time, i bet, it's one of the most cherished moments of your family...
On the day I was born, the only and most interesting happening that my parents had told me, was when she gave birth to me... :)

This is not a world shaking event, but on the day I was born, my grandmother picked up a 20.00 bill near where our current house is now built. At that time, that was considerable amount and it is not something you pick up everyday. She thought that was a sign that I was a lucky child. :)

Ooohh!!That was so shocking!! Actualloy with me, I can't really remember what is the headline that time. The only thing that I know is that my father is not around when I was born. I was really sad when I found out about this matter.He is totally gone.
