What goes on in our little pet's minds?

Sometimes, I feel very guilty when my dog starts barking. It feels like he is trying to tell me something, but I don't understand him. After sometime, he quietly gives up and sits down. Sometimes, though, I do understand what he is trying to tell me, and I cheer up. Do you ever think you know what your pets are thinking about?

I do believe that our pets are trying to communicate with us. Interesting that they can learn to understand what we're saying but we can't learn to understand what they're saying. Makes you think a lot about which species is smarter, doesn't it. One of the funniest things that ever happened to me in this regard was one evening when my Mother and I sat down on the couch with a bowl of ice cream. My dog kept running between the two of us barking. She finally got frustrated with us because we couldn't understand. She went into the kitchen, picked up her bowl with her teeth, brought it into the living room and dropped her dish at my feet.

Oh!I often think about the same...I think in China or Japan somebody made a pet comunicator or something...It tells you what is your dog trying to tell you...Where can I buy one of those? :)

i do. i always pretty much know what mine are thinking. they get a certain look on their faces.you can usually tell if they have to tinkle or pooh.but then there's that "i want to play" look. but , they are my babies and they get everything.

Most definitely I believe I know what my pets are thinking about and I also know what they are trying to tell me when they bark, when they whine or when they just come up to me and look at me. My pets are like my children and I am so in tune with their not only their needs but also their wants and their feelings. There have been a few times that I just did not know what it was they wanted or were trying to tell me but for the most part I usually get it right the first time.
