The Supreme power America has always been looked at with "hope" to step in & take some strong measures to nail these terrorists & punish the states who are letting them flourish. Bush clarified US's intentions in IRAQ ..not a long time back. However Bush has always maintained a diplomatic stand towards INDO-PAK relations & the terror cultivation in POK. OBAMA, THE NEW ELECTED US PRESIDENT, is being looked at by millions of eyes from India & other countries who are a prey to these cowardly attacks. Obama's initial statements in various press conferences have been encouraging however the face of reality is still to be witnessed after Jan'09 when he takes the oath for the presidentship. I'm sure, I am not the only one who is wondering what's coming our way as INDIAN'S.....??

It is the timing of the attacks that have me thinking what I am about to say. During the debates Obama openly stated that if Pakistan was not willing to help us with finding the terrorist within their country that he would be more than happy to go in and find them. This would not be a new war just a continuation of the war on terror. He openly said he believes that Bin Laden is hidden in Pakistan. I do not believe he will just up and walk in without giving Pakistan the ultimate choice to do what is right for this world. I also do not believe that Obama will go in without evidence of these terrorist packs. What I do believe is that the attack on India is a test for the Obama administration. He is being tested before he even gets in as president. Of course the Bush Administration is not going to step in this late in the game. Before Obama moves in on anything he has to think what is in the best interest of our country. He has plenty of issues sitting on his plate the moment he enters his term. He will hit the ground running but not without evaluating consequences and the safetly of the United States! Happy Mylotting

Hiya Grammasnook...Thx for your comments my friend . Well , I believe that the world is not ready for a Nuke war & will not be ever as far as i see . Both India & Pak are Nuclear powered states & the war has to be out of question here anyways. America's intervention is very important in whatever happens in world today as U.S guides the direction of the future course for a lot of countries in today's world . Pakistan today is primarily surviving on funding done by the world bank .By declaring pakistan a nuclear state would deprive it of all help it is getting from all countries. No state would keep business ties with Pakistan in that eventuality . This may in turn force senior PAK leaders to take action against the insects which are dwelling inside Pakistan today. Cheers & Happy Mylotting Beetel

You are aware that Obama has made no bones about the fact that he will openly launch attacks in to Pakistan if he sees the need? I find it fascinating that the world screamed for Bush's head over strikes in Pakistan but openly embrace Obama's similar intentions. Honestly, I think we have enough entanglements in the world, the world doesn't apreciate it, when we intrvene and try to do something, we're called war mongers. So what would we have any incentive to keep doing so? I just don't get it Oh, and welcome to mylot. :D

Hi XFAHCTOR, The scenarios have changed so dramatically over the last 4-5 years across the world with people getting more aggresive when anyone talks about any terror strikes...especially being in India I witness that day on day. May be when Bush attacked Iraq , we as world citizens were not ready for a war ..may be we hadn't realised that terror can be ended only by ending the terrorists..."Beetel"
