I have read all the rhetoric. I have listened to all the 'testimony' of the troubled ones, also known as Detroit's worst businessmen. And I have listened to all of the opinions about what the government 'has to do' to help them out. I agree, that the govenrment didn't do anything to stop them from getting all of us into this debacle. But I also agree that they need to get themselves out of this mess. If the government gives them any money at all, they will do like AIG has done, and change the rules after they get the money. They haven't managed the money that they lost before now, what makes you think that they can start doing it now? And at our expense? Bankruptcy is definetely in their future.

It would be an unprecedented move for them to go bankrupt, but it would do more than just force them to reorganize. It would show them that the people here aren't going to let them squander away fortunes any longer, and certainly not on our dime.
