PTC is a scam industry in total. We are still working on it because we are poor and we hope we can find a nice one. So, we get scammed over and over. That's one of the reason why poor people normally get poorer.
One of the reason why PTC sites can easily turn to scam is-- members just forgive them or forget them. It's not right. If you don't protect yourself, who else would give you the chance for richness?
Here's a important resource to protect yourself: Internet Crime Complaint Center
It's an organization between FBI, NW3C and BJA. Here's the address:
http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
Whenever you get scammed, no matter where the scammer is, you can file a complaint with IC3. It works internationally. If the crime is outside of the US, it will redirect you to related law enforcement agencies.
Don't just go around forums and talk gossips. Do something useful.

i agree...we should take action...i suggest that all those who have suffered should mention the sites that turned out scams to everyone, so that we all know what is happening where and stop using such scam sites....as for me idealbux turned out to be scam..i lost 4 dollers and a lot of valuable time and energy...i know $4 is very litle but still that wasted my time...i request all the members to mention all the sites that actually paid them and help others decide among themselves what they have to do...
i also have a doubt:- do standard members get paid at all..??

You're right. This link will be very useful and that's good idea of posting it in mylot. All these scam sites must be removed so that people stop wasting time with such fake sites. I personally lost i don't know how may hours wasting in such sites till i found mylot and i was encouraged by mylotters giving me tips on how to increase my earnings. Mylot is a gold site and must profit from it. Thanks to mylot and to everyone.

So what you're saying is there really is no way to make money from my computer. Well, I can't say that I'm surprised. It didn't take long for any of the sites I expressed interest in to show their true colors. I was really hoping there for awhile though.
These kinds of scams prey on the poor, elderly and disabled. That always seems to be the way of it. I just tell myself that they will know payback when they see it.

There are ways to make money online. But, for any profit you are expecting, there's a risk. That's normal. To be profitable eventually, you ought to be prepared for that. Don't believe in free money. Your time and your jobs are valuable. That's a cost. Then, if anybody try to scam you, you ought to know how to deal with it. Don't just let them do it.
If you forgive/forget scammers over and over, the internet might eventually can't provide any money opportunity for you.
We must protect ourselves. That's the starting point for making money.
