I know this sounds crazy....but I was just thinking about everything and all that has been happening in the world....the Bible says that there will be a man who will stop all the wars and all the fighting and bring what appears to be peace on earth.....then....... - is anyone scared that Obama and his background with Muslim could harm Americans? What better way to gain control of a country than to teach someone from birth how to overcome them with charm and promises, take over their minds and be elected into office as the highest leader of the country - then take them down!
Have you thought it? Do you think I am way off here? Just wondering what your thoughts are?

I agree with the above poster. If Obama Is in fact the anti christ there is nothing we can do about it. As far as if he will destroy America I don't think so. Our president does not have absolute power. He can't just move in and make outrageous laws etc.

I don't know whether or not Obama's the anti-Christ, but I doubt it. I do, however, think this past election was weird. First, how could anyone with as little experience as Obama get his party's nomination? Second, have you heard anyone admit that they wanted John McCain to be the Republican candidate? Every time anyone mentions that they didn't want Obama to win they add, "but I didn't want McCain either," or words to that effect. You also have to admit that McCain didn't run a very convincing campaign. I don't understand why people are so enamored with Obama. Maybe that's why some think he's the anti-Christ. It's my understanding that the anti-Christ is very popular with the people, and Obama is certainly that. Time will tell.

I agree with you too. I was very interested in how someone with as little experience as obama could've won an entire country over. It's very strange to me. You are also right about mccain. It was a very weird election. As you said we shall see.

I have had a couple of people mention this very thing to me but in way more detail of "why" they think he is. This is the way I look at it; If he is, it's meant to be and there is not a thing I can do to stop it. But I think people have been thinking there is an anti-christ elected several times beofre. I wouldn't worry about it. I voted for him because I wanted change. I have just the highest of hopes for the future.

Okay, let's dig it a bit. As for being a muslim, Obama is not because he attends a christain church and he was baptised in a church. As for being an anti-christ, Obama is not because he has worshipped christ at least once in his life.Remember, an anti-christ is something or someone agaist christ and will never adore him or believe in is powers and supremacy. For the same Bible has said that" You shall know them by their fruits, for a good tree cannot bring forth evil fruits neither can a currupt tree bring forth good fruits". I think this is the prophecy that is fulfilling on the earth for peace co-existence of all creatures. Refer Genesis 27:40.

Those rumors were all the rage a few months ago-don't know if they still are. It does give one something to ponder though. Supposedly some guy if trying to trace Obama's birth certificate and cannot find positive birth records of where he is from. (could be adopted?). Anyways I am giving him a chance to prove himself. He certainly can't do any worse than who's been in office.
As far as him being the AntiChrist-I don't think so. That person was supposed to be from the east. And he may or may not have Muslim ties, but that doesn't mean he wants to take down America. I say give him a chance and hopefully America will be in a better place soom.

Yes, I agree that Bible does mention that there will seem to be peace at the end but Obama isnt the person who brings the peace. Well it doesnt seem that way. The whole world will seem to be at peace at the end and then armageddon will strike out of nowhere with a surprise. The people who will seem to be bringing peace is no doubtedly the people of UN. They are the once who are in control of the world now. They are the one who will be taking the control of the world and will be very powerful. Everyone will be obeying them. At the last momemnt they will declare that all the religions of the world should be ended as they will claim that it is the main source of war. And because of that a war between the people who belive in religions will have to face with the UN. All the false religions with be no more and at last the UN will face the last and only true religion and they will try to remove that religion as well but they wont be able to as thats when the battle of armageddeon will be and all the bad and evil things will end and the earth will be turned into a worlderful paradise where good people will live for eterninty without any troubles.

I hope he is. I am not religious and times when every one was are long gone. I don't like it when politicions(mostly american) thank god for anything, becouse it seems silly to me. Human made god, not the other way around.
