...right in front of me! I was stopped at an intersection with a stop sign and was waiting as a lady to my right was turning. Suddenly a car in the lane next to me came BARRELING out of nowhere, didn't stop, didn't even slow down and smashed right into the turning car. I pulled over on the side and rolled down my window so I could talk to the driver and make sure she was okay. It wasn't an injury accident, the other driver was not injured either but he clearly drove right through the stop sign without even seeing it!
Have you ever seen something like this unfold right before your eyes? I was shaking, there was nothing I could do but I sure wished I could have prevented it!

Yea ive seen some accidents b4 too. But Mostly I been in too many accidents myself. But I saw a few when driving in bad weather and ppl just not paying attentoin. They could be occupied by doing osmethin in the car or alot of times by their cell phone. That seems to be alot of cases lately. But glad both drivers weren't injured n i'm sure that guy got ticketed tho.

You should not blame yourself. It was not your fault and I am afraid that there is nothing you could have done to prevent this accident. Thank God that no one was really injured. I think that we need better education to have less reckless drivers in the road.

I have seen a car accident happen, but it wasn't anything nearly as bad as what you described mommyboo. It happened either earlier this year or late last year. I had gone to Sonic with my mother because she wanted to get a Diet Coke. While we were out there waiting, there was a car waiting to leave through the exit side. I guess the parked car didn't see it and the woman driving backed out and backed into the car. I don't think there was a whole lot of damage, but the dents were not small.
Another time I witnessed a car accident was several years ago. I was going out of town with my parents. We were driving on the highway when all of a sudden this SUV going the opposite direction started swerving all over the road before it ended up stopping on the side of the road. A few people, including us, stopped to see if everything was okay. Fortunately, it was. I don't know what made the driver start swerving all over the place though.

me and a few of my friends were at the park and we all had a water fight well when we were leaving we were sitting there waiting to pull out of the park and this guy pulled out a car came out of nowhere speeding and slammed into his door. we saw the whole thing his car started spinning across the intersection and it finally hit this tree in the ditch. well we pulled over and there were alot of people around his car already trying to get his door open and they couldnt get it open and the guy wasnt responding finally someone said they were a paramedic and went in through the passenger door and checked him out and he wasnt breathing. it was so sad but everybody was blocking the intersection and we were soaking wet so we got out of the way to give them room to work. so i never found out if he made it or not. but the guy that hit him was like not worried about that guy he was worried about getting to work it blew my mind that he didnt even acknowledge what had just happened cause it was his fault and this guy wasnt even breathing

Unfortunately in my lifetime I have witnessed a couple of wrecks in my lifetime. Back around 15 yrs. or so ago the roads were really slick and icy and I seen a truck overturn and land upside down, and my first thoughts were to say a Quick Prayer as I seen it happen. The people then were OK, and I just hurried and got on another Transit bus and went back home to wait the Storm out.
Then I also remember back like almost 20 yrs. ago driving thru an area in the middle of winter going really slow, and a Car passed us with an older couple in it who was going at least the speed limit even though it was slick. About 20 mins. later we see their car overturned, and later learned at least one did not make it.
Seeing a Car accident is not Fun. All you can do is Pray and hope somehow no one will be too badly injured and that everything turns out OK from there.

There is never anything you can do before the accident but you can help the victims and you are a witness as to what really happened. It is always useful to have a witness.
I do not know if this lady needed a witness hat the other driver ran a stop sign or not but when you are turning they hold you partially to blame and that is not fair.

It has been a few years now, i think i was a teenager when it happened actually. My whole family was in the car and we were stopped at a red light with one car in front of us. The light turned green and the car in front of us started to go, it was turning left, and as it was half way through the turn a car runs a red light and rams right into the car. We pulled over to the side of the road and my dad got out to make sure everything was okay, they were. We ended up having to stay there though until the cops had talked to my parents about what had happened.

I've seen this way too many times. I almost always stop and help out. One time there was three people trapped in the car. I was the first one on the scene and kept talking to them through the window so they would stay still until the rescue teams came. The driver was frantically trying to get out of the car and splashed blood on my arm. I was worried about that later on. I managed to get him to relax just a bit by continually pointing out the sound of sirens to him. Thankfully nothing came of it and everyone ended up being ok.

yeah years ago I had just bought my first brand new car, and I was driving it home. Some drunk lady came flying down a one way road the wrong way, she hit a stop sign a few feet in front of me, and then it was like slow motion, glass, and car parts were flying towards my car. Somehow they missed my car, and just flew over it, and around it. I was shocked a bit. Then the lady stumbled out of her car, and I could see she was alright just drunk, and a cop was already there, so I just drove on.

Once I saw a very small accident but it was actually funnier than it was sacry.
I was walking to Walgreens one day and at the intersection there was soem kind of maintenance truck parked on the side walk because he was fixing a light or somehting. Any way a cop car stopped by the truck to talk to him and see why he was parked on the side walk I guess. And as the other cars drove through the intersection one of the drivers was rubbernecking and not paying attention to what was in front of him and ran right into the back of a car that slowed down in forn of him.
Fortunately no one was traveling very fast and there wasn't a lot of damage odne to either car. And bestof all the policeman was right there. All he had to do was go to the othe side of the intersection :)
There was another time when I was almost in an accident for a really stupid reason. I was driving in the left lane of a road and there was a white car in front of me. Then someone on the other side of the road, really fast, pulled into the center turn lane because he wanted to get onto our street. He didn't get too far out into our lane or anything but the white car in front of my panicked and slammed on the brakes. Luckily I was paying attention and I slammed on the brakes as well.
For a minute I didn't think that I would be able to stop and I was freakin out because I was driving my brother's car. But luckily I managed to stop before I hit the white car.
After we all started moving again, I was pretty shock up but then after I thought about it I realized that it was all the white car's fault for slamming on the brakes in the middle of the road for no reason.
I was pretty mad at the white car driver for being an idiot and I saw the driver in the other car and it was clear from his face that he thought that that driver was an idiot too.
