Of all the offensive things people could do, what offends you the Most? Now besides Murder and child abuse..its a toss up between speaking on their cell phones and other people’s loud music. Now i have a cell phone and i love music, but when people walk by laughing and screaming i think they are either in pain or something else..then i realise they have a cell phone..one came into my store and talked and laughed for the whole time she was looking around..then came to the counter and asked me why I wasn't helping her..I said I didn't have her phone number..lol.. The other about music is they have the music up so loud that it makes the windows rattle and when i'm going home the last thing i want to hear is their music playing in my ear with my window down..I want to hear my own so i have to roll the window up..blast the speakers and base will you..

Tailgater's drive me nuts! That is so disrespectful because if I have to stop suddenly we will both get hurt, but mostly me. But I know how to fix them. If tapping the brakes doesn't do it, I just keep slowing down and eventually they just pass me because I am going too slow since they are often speed demons that are in an awful hurry to get to their demise.

My dad likes to mess with tailgater's heads. He doesn't even drive slow, but in the event someone is right on his bumper, he'll deliberately slow down just to make the buy go around him. He gets a kick out of it. Then he waves as they go by.

Yeah, as they pass me, I usually give them a big sh!teating smile and wave, and since they can't hear me, I derive satisfaction in saying, "Bye, bye a$$hole, I ee you in the ditch". Once, slowing down didn't do it and the idiot stayed right behind me even when I stopped completely. I didn't slam on the breaks, just kept going slower and slower. The strange part is that even though the way was clear, he still didn't pass. Finally, I started moving again, after sitting there for a minute, a whole minute. Then I went back up to the speed limit, and he didn't tailgate any more. Finally, he got another chance to pass and took it. That one was weird!

Blasted typos. The sun is in my eyes just at the moment so I didn't proof it well. That should read, "See you in the ditch". And THAT has happened, too. Where some idiot passed me in snowy weather, but I passed them further up, IN THE DITCH! Serves them right for risking our lives by driving too fast for the conditions.

I just cannot tolerate people that have body odor, it's offensive. Besides what you mentioned above. People that are blatently predujuced and talk mean stuff to someone of a different race. OH THAT KILLS ME. I just want to smack them. I WILL say something if I witness an act like that! I don't care if it's a 6 foot 6 inch, 300 pound skin head that looks like a psychopath- I assume no one will mess with me I guess cause I am 5 ft 5 in and 115 lbs. (and a woman)

Or I have seen soccer players blow their noses during games. That is disgusting and I think that that is even worse than spitting.

I think that people being offensive offends me the most Rosie. Anything that is done unthinkingly or deliberately to cause offence makes my blood boil. But I just add a little milk and sugar and I settle down, perhaps with a cookie and let the love sweep over me again.

Hey Rosekitty! Yup! I agree with you! I can't stand it when people are constantly on their cell phones and you can't tell if the are talking to you or if they are talking on the cells or what they are doing! It really is very rude! I hate when they talk on the cell phones on the bus for the entire bus ride and that's all you hear! And it is usually not just one conversation but multiple conversations in various languages and loud! If it isn't the cell phones it's the music from the ipods playing really loudly even though they have headphones! Sometimes I just want a nice quiet ride! Not that that will ever happen! That is just the way it is in the world today. Don't get me wrong, I blast the crap out of my stereo when I am home and I don't give a rat's azz who I bother! But, I try to be mindful of the time so that I don't break the rules of the lease. But other than that look out because I love my music! But, there is a time and place for noise!

I find those things offensive too. I also find anything racist offensive. But what is really getting on my nerves these days is that in the girl's bathroom the so call "ladies" leave all their dirty personal items EVERYWHERE. It's just really disgusting.

Hi Rosekitty, Ohhh, that is very very bad! In my case, I am offend when people will stare at me with a very snobbish face! LOL! I hate it..It will not matter when she will smile at me because I am also friendly but when I will smile, the person will just look at me head to foot and looks like she hates me and I don't know her! I hate that!

Hard choice but the other day I saw a bus driver on mobile phone and that made my blood boil talking about a huge no no. I like music but my new neighbours have their radio on all weekend outside well if that does not make you crazy I dont know and plus its some music that I cant even enjoy. And because its so loud my son insists on watching the tv very loud so I go crazy at home.

False accusations and injustice just infuriate me. I know I should be able to understand that I can't change the way people are, but if I think somebody is being unjust or unfair I will go at them again and again until I get them to see my side of things. Or until they get a restraining order. lol

Hi Rose, been wondering where you have been hiding. Yes, loud music rattling my windows drives me batty. When I hear it over the tv which is turned up because after years of working with air tools my husband's hearing is terrible, it's loud! Yes, people talking 90 to nothing on their cell phones, while driving, and while you are trying to wait on them makes me nuts too. What is worse? Well, the neighborhood teenagers apparently don't have enough to do so they go out and cause trouble. There was a group of them going out around 10 pm throwing rocks and bricks in the road, yes, while cars are going down the road even. People have had flat tires, so far no accidents, but hopefully it won't happen again. The third time I geuss the state police decided to finally come out after several people phoned once again. They saw the mess and that my husband and a neighbor across the street were out cleaning it up. Shortly after they left the little brats came through and we were able to stop two of them and hold them. The police arrived, the boys denied it, but the neighbor came down and identified them. It's been quiet since, but this isn't the first thing they have done wrong. I haven't seen them at all so maybe they are going the other way out of the neighborhood. Oh, Harmony bouncing off the fence helped keep the boys still while waiting on the officer. Me telling her to "hold" no doubt had them concerned. So, tell me, I know that these 5 aren't the only trouble makers, do you know what your teenagers are doing?

Loud noise is offensive to me - but littering is one of my pet hates! I will never understand why people need to drop things in the street, or throw them from car windows - and it makes me really, REALLY mad. I often see piles of used disposable nappies which have been dumped from cars and are blowing around - and piles of stuff from ashtrays. Makes you wonder at the state of these people's houses. Loud phone-talkers on trains are awful, because you can't just walk off and get away from them. My daughter and I once had to sit and listen to some horrible girl telling her friend in great detail about having a termination. Her fellow travellers in the train carriage that day were mortified and embarrassed.

Wow, we are an awful lot alike. Murder and child abuse are on the top of my list. But, the other two you mentioned are things that annoy me every day. I can't stand for someone to be at a service counter, making the rest of the line wait, because THEY think it is more important to be on the phone. Get the hell out of line and get back in it when you are finished with your conversation. I do not like having my teeth rattled by someone else's music while driving down the road, or any other time, actually. I want to be able to hear my own choice of music, not something someone, who is obviously deaf and doesn't realize it, yet, decides he/she is going to share with the world.

I agree with you about the cell phones and the music. My father plays music really loud and you can hear it everywhere in the house, so if I am trying to read or watch TV it is really distracting. Something similar happened to me with the cell phone. One time at work some woman came in and bought some stuff and paid for it all while talking on her phone. I felt it was rude because I was trying to help her but she was completely ignoring me. Another thing that I find really rude and offensive is when people interrupt you i=during a conversation. I always wait until people are done talking before I say what I want to. But when people interrupt me it makes me feel like they don't think anything that I have to say is important. Very offenseive.

I do hate people talking loudly. I cant stand that noise It is a typical custom of people in the mediterranean area who use gesture and talk loudly. It seems that the maltese, spanish and italians are not the only ones to do this © ronaldinu 2008

I am pretty easy going about most anything, but the thing that really make me mad and offeneds me. Is when someone wants to play the race game. or someone acts as if they are better then me. I am so sick of people blamming there problems or lifestyle on others or even there color, religion, or se#. Instead of taking responsablity for there own actions and putting the blam where it belong. And people trying to dictate how I should live my life. I haven't made the best of desitions in my life. but, it's what I have done and I have to live with that. But I don't blam others for my desitions or my mistakes. God gives you choices, It's up to you to choose the right road. And if you choose the wrong one, you have no one to blam but, yourself. It has nothing to do with race, religion or se#. You may be a different color, you may have different beleaves, you may be different se@ then me. But your no better.....and no worse... For we all are the same, we cry, we feel, we need... I just wish, all could come together and peace could be complete...

I don't know that I find it offensive, but I find it rude when people have music up so loud that it vibrates my vehicle when I am parked beside or behind someone blaring their music in their car. I find it rude when people talk on their cell phone while doing something else (like going through line in store, or something that needs all their attention). I find it especially rude when people are out to eat or have coffee with me, and are texting or talking to someone else on the phone during that time. Why have lunch or coffee with me then?
