Robert Downey Jr was hilarious in Tropic Thunder!

I just saw this movie on dvd today. The only reasonI wanted to see it was for Robert Downey. I know the history about white actors early on being dressed up in white face. And I guess it would be understandable for black people tp get insulted by the role he played in this movie. But not me. I thought the movie was okay since I saw it in the comfort of my own home. don't know if I would have wanted to see it on the big screen. But Downey played one of those characters that should have his own movie. he had me in tears the whole time. Him trying to act black was funny as hell. Of course I got let down when he finaly took off the wig and lost the black man voice. But this is a character I wanna see in his own movie. He needs to be the main person in the movie. he kinda was in this one, but he was sharing time with Ben Stiller in this one.
