Mylot improve your English or not?

Of course.I am a new man in mylot. The aim I login Mylot is improving my English ,especial writing.

Although I have been educated in the English language from the time I started my schooling. I do find mylot as a tool to improve my English more. It is really a great site where you can improve the English language as well as your written skills. Not only that, I have also improve my typing skills after joining my lot.

I am from India and here each state has its own regional language,plus our national language Hindi.We use english for official purposes and rarely speak english.So i want to improve my english.I think mylot is a nice place to improve our english and communication skill.Here we can discuss all matters with out any hesitation.After joining this site,i improved my english a lot.

I think so. Since Mylot is an English forum and it's the main language for this website. Since I have read and also write a lot here, it will improve my English anyway. I love China

Oh yes, definitely. English is my first language, and it has helped me so far in my diction and writing. Mostly writing, because I use it all the time to write blogs and sometimes, articles. CE-6 is equivalent to college, is it?

Yes English is not my first language. But I can express my thoughts in it. This due to the practice which makes a person perfect. I have lot of chances to improve my writing power in English here at Mylot.com. I was afraid in start. but friends at mylot.com told that my English is not bad. they encouraged me and now I am using this site freely and friendly. I have no problem in English and I am thankful to mylot.com, where I earned and also learned a lot.

Hello tracy1985, English is not my mother tongue language but widely spoken here. One of the reason that I stick to MyLot is because of the ability for me to learn English from the native speakers and see how they write here. It is a good informal lesson and I like to memorize whatever words or phrases that I never ever used before.

Hi tracy!! Yup I guess this really help a lot. English is not my mother language,even though I've studying English since I'm still in the kindergarten, but still there are so many errors in my English. Practice makes perfect, so I have to practice more to make it better. Good luck :)

I came here and signed up yesterday, ha. I think mylot is a wonderful place. Just like the above posts write, it can help you practice your writting English. But I just have a question, how can we improve our oral skill here?

Though I already do know how to speak as well as use the language enough to express my thoughts and opinions in the english medium, being active in this site helps me maintain it. I don't usually communicate in english where I live, though we do know how, its just more easier to use our own language. Kind'a ironic on my part since I seem to lean more on english than that of my own mother language.. (-_-") Anyway, myLot does help on improving member's communication skills in english, especially if english is not their native language. There are also issues before wherein other members here in this site can't tolerate those who couldn't post right, or construct their post in correct grammar or just get annoyed with too much typo. Good thing I've been reading less about that now-a-days (^_^ )

In my earlier discussion also I have repeatedly admitted that mylot is a very good and reputed site and irrespective of your earning you can improve your knowledge of english and writing skill which is most important. For this reason I like mylot and I am always active to post or comments or answer in the site. After joining in the site my writing skill has been improved a lot. pkc3000

Like anything else that we do in life, to make things better is to keep on practicing. The same goes here. Posting to myLot is similar to practicing our English. The way we write. The sentences that we do. The spelling that we have make sure before we post. The grammatical errors that we learn to fix. All of these can be done just by posting at myLot. English is not my first language and myLot has given me a place where I can practice my English by reading some posts written by those who speak English as their first language. Then by responding and starting my own discussion, I have managed to improve my spelling and grammar at the same time. I am not perfect yet and I don't think that I would ever be perfect but the fact that this place is always here for me to continue learning is really awesome! Cheers!

Congratulation to you. Mylot has also improved my english a lot and also the speed at which i type words.
