In the recent Mumbai attacks, terrorists had all the mighty weapons to threaten the lives of the inmates.People withheld inside the buildings had to flee for their life as they have nothing to fight against the terrorists. If they had had weapons with them, they could have easily tackled the situation without this great loss of lives. So,do you agree to allow every individual to own a gun in order to protect himself? Please answer with positive attitude.Negative attitudes are also welcome, to seal the holes in the idea.

No!
It would mean more people would be likely to be killed not less.

That would not be the solution . With weapons;people would more likely be settling personal grudges and scores .
I doubt that If a normal person ;even with an AK-47 can fight a Terrorist trained for
2-3 years . Only Trained Police , Army and NSG commandos can fight such Trained personnel .
However;people should be taught some basic self defence and how to react in Hostage like situations .

It is good to have weapon for self support but nowadays people have become so short tempered that giving everyone a weapon can create more problems. Besides when there is an attack, even if there is a weapon then fear at times is so much that a person with weapon is also unable to use it. So it is better to train people in marshal arts like judo and karate instead of providing weapons.

i dont agree .. infact it eliminates the job of terrorist..
each other will shoot among themselves.. the crime rate would reach its top..
the only advantage of it is indian population may reduce to a great extent..
so with this in mind u can suggest our govt to do this...
keep shooting
