Well I usually keep a backup copy of most important files on my pc.
And if at all anything goes wrong I do have backup software and so my data is safe.

i keep my downloaded x*x*x vids on a dvd disc. keeps it away from my baby bros. hahaha. well, if your work rely greatly on computers, it would be lame not to backup your data. if you profit on computers, might as well invest on it, ryt?

Actually i dont know much more about data recovery software.
As i am using my pc for my personal use at home, there is not much data so i have to worry about it.
Even then sometimes i used to keep back up of my important data for my security.
I always prefer to write it down on dvds. I think its the very much better way to keep your data safely with yourself.
According to me, my important data is nothing more than old songs, each and every movie, some very nice softwares.
any ways,
good luck..

I use windows backup system to back up my files. It works properly and i dont need to use any exceptional software besides this. It is enough for me.
