which anti virus is better ?

I have tried a lot of anti-viruses and i recommend ESET Nod 32 . i don't think its very popular , but i found it the best for internet security. the firewall is amazing and it consumes very little processing power when compared to others in the market. i tried kaspersky but it slowed down my computer. AVG free couldn't remove a couple of nasty viruses i had. Norton i did not bother to try. but i found ESET the best and i continue to use it...

My Personal Recommendation would be Avira AntiVir. Personal Edition is completely free and gives you best security. Be it a Virus, or a Trojan or even Backdoor client, Avira AntiVir will be the first one to detect. I use Comodo its good, as it works well and its free,and unlike Mc Afee it does not use alot of system resources

i use avg internet security, it give me a hustle free on destroying my virus and it prevents some virus and spywares entered on to my computer, i would rather suggest u AVG internet security. btw, its afordable..

kaspersky,AVG,mcAffee are good antivirus softwares..........norton affects the broadband and dial up internet speed...quick heal is also good antivirus but lags behind the above mentioned three softwares.i have mcafee in my laptop...it detects the virus promptly,spontaneously,and automatically blocks and quarantines the viruses and then it shows the list of quarantined and removed viruse.i have etrust antivirus in my pc and it shows a lot of respect to the viruses and it unable to removes basic viruses like trojan,worm.....

I have used many different internet antivirus programs and they all affect my computer in some way either slow it down, or take up too much space or they even don't do there intended job which is to catch viruses, trojans and such. I currently am using AVG and it works pretty good. I have used all the name brand ones like norton, mcafee, and kaspersky lab, I even had search and destroy but it loaded tons of things and almost crashed my computer. You just have to try the different ones until you find the one you think works best for your system. Have a great day!

I have tested many antivirus software's but out of all those i have found Avira to be the best Antivirus as it loads faster, virus detection is fast,doesnt slowdown the pc, capable of detecting unknown virus , and best of all its even available for free. The premium version supports browser guard, where it warns if the website you are about to visit has virus or other harmful contents..

i have been hit by virus recently which rendered my system almost useless cos i could not connect to internet and lose my sounds. I downloaded trendmirco and they managed to help me with my problems and get my system back on. I think they are worth a try and they are free too for 1 month trial. Another good AV is kaspersky and i am sure many members here are already using them. they are considered at the leader at the moment. Avoid mcafee cos that is the AV that allowed the trojan virus in and did not detect it. also scanning it revealed nothing so it is useless to me

hi frnds, For me anti virus is better one is norton and avast anti virus software. Iam using a avast anti virus software.Its a best anti virus software.cleans all virus affected to systemss.Avast is a good security for the computer.

Hi krishnav2, I suggest you to go for the best and the original antivirus if you have a net connection at your pc.I am saying this bcoz most of the viruses come directly from the net only and they make a living hell of your computer.I have purchased the net protector antivirus from market.Kasperksy can also be a better option.
