my dog wakes me up early morning........

i think you lessen your dog's water intake during the evening so that he will not pee too early atleast not as early as 4am maybe a little delayed.

well just the way you have to pee after a couple of hours you cant expect a dog to hold his pee till too many hours.... all dogs are the same but some dogs sometime give up on their owners waking up in the morning to take them out for a pee... if you try for somedays to ignore the dog when he wakes you up he will automatically get used to it and hold on to his pee for a little more longer...but thats not the solution to the problem as it is very uncomfortable for the animal also to do that as it would be for you i have no idea why it is that you sleep that late..maybe its cos you work but you have to understand that with a dog also comes responsibility... and this is one of the responsibilities you have to take on when you get a dog.... what you could do is when you go to sleep ... before going to sleep you can take the dog out to pee and then go to sleep and then if he still tries to wake you up in the morning then you can ignore him as you had taken him out to pee before sleeping and soon he will get used to it too so all the best !! hope this advice helps you in some ways !!

My dog used to wake me up too. Do you let him pee before you go to bed? Try that, and he won't need to pee so early. My dog has learnt to pee only when I wake up, so now he is used to it.
