Have you ever seen or eaten a seaweed? Was it cooked or uncooked? I prefer to eat it uncooked with lemons, vinegar and spices on it, it's really nice! For you, what is the color of a seaweed green or brown? Some people say the natural color of a seaweed is brown and some say it's green.
Few people realise that green is the true colour of seaweed. The muddy brown appearance is caused by the various chemical deposits it picks up from the sea.
You can restore the natural chlorophyl colour by placing the weed in a boiling water. The brown deposits will wash away leaving an uncommon but quite natural colour to the plant.

I love seaweeds that are eaten raw. There are seaweeds colored yellow green but there are also seaweeds that are naturally brown no matter how much you wash them. I don't know how cooked seaweeds taste so i'm not inclined to wash them in boiling water.

Oh yes I like pandan leaves. Most of the times we put when cooking rice to make the rice smells nice. And sometimes put it on different recipes especially with a meat. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day!
