Hlelo!
I cluod raed tihs. I had no pobrlmes, it was atcalluy pterty esay to do. Taht is an old e-mial, tgouhh. They say that only some people can read it, but I guess that everybody is able to. This has been proved already, and it really is an old e-mail. It is not as easy as reading common words, but it is still easy. Do you read it as quick as you do read normal words?
Respectfully,
Munhozmib.

Is this correct?
"If you can read this, you have a strange mind too
Can you read this? Only 55 people out of 100 can.
I couldn't believe that I cloud actually understand what I was reading. The phenomenal power of the human mind, according to a research at Cambridge University, it doesn't matter in what order the letterers in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be in the right place. The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem. This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole. Amazing huh? Yeah and I always thought spelling was important!"
There was one word that stumped me and that was "sgtrane". So I used spell check on it. LOL Everything else I could read with no problem.

Hi sacmom
Well that is what the email said, 55 people out of 100 but I am thinking that it is more than that. I don't know when the research was done so the statistics might be dated. The longer the word the harder it is to understand it I guess and the word strange was probably the longest word in the text though I have not checked that.
Thanks for your response

yes hubmug, i cluod raed it!. the human brain can still figure out a word even if the letters are jumbled up as long as the first and last letters remain the same. so yeah, i'm also surprised that only 55% could read it. perhaps they don't speak english very well?

Haha, yea i can read the whole thing pretty smoothly. It's like reading a book, you don't read a whole page word for word, or every letter for that matter. Cool stuff, as long as the words contain every letter and it seems like the correct length it contributes to being able to read he word as well.

hey that was pretty good one..i could read it..some googling about this i found that, since we always read write, sometimes if a spell mistake , we can still read it, it is our brain which reads what the word meant even though it was spelt incorrectly..
that was actually great email...i had never though about it..thanks
happy mylotting

I can read it. Since "Olny 55 plepoe out of 100 " can read this I was wondering which age group & demographics they based this research testing on to conclude that only great minds can read this. Children? Adults? single people?..LOL..Hmmmm.. Pretty interesting and fun!

Thats really cool, i could still understand even if some letters are mixed. hehe. Its actually my first time to read such jumbled words. hehe. I think it has some similarity with texting, like in texting we omit some letters but we could still understand the word but with this the letters are still there but they are just jumbled.hehe. Nice one.. hehe

I have also received this email before and I can perfectly read the sentence.. This is because our mind need only the first and the last letter to know the word written.. See how amazing our minds are?!
