hmmmm....i guess that depends on u!!!but i personally feel we have to talk to ppl who we atlest a lil...like maybe ur frens fren!!!but newayzz its not all alwayz that ppl lie and cheat when u chat wid dem.....just take for example urself u kno u can be trusted so try to find the same kinda ppl....or atleast don reveal ur personal information and dont never ever ever ACCEPT FILES from strangers as they let the stranger kno ur ip adress and make u really vulnerable to them!!!!so try and avoid strangers and if it has to be done then BE SAFE DON REVEAL PERSONAL INFO!!!!ENJOY!!!

Well, you are right that people tell lie when chatting online and we have no way of knowing if they should be trusted or not. But my point is, what difference does it make? We are chatting only for fun and not for serious business. So, don't worry and simply have fun.

My advise...do not believe everything your chatmate is telling you specially if you meet them only thru chatrooms.You never know what the background that person has so be very very careful.

At Yuwie, the other site we have many friends...we do chat yes entrusted our emails but so far nothing wrong happened...I trust them and they trust me, we trust each other's friendship and we're close friends, I don't know but I found them nice and real, we'd been friends for a year. I am wondering why even my children are telling me that people at the internet are not real, or maybe am just lucky to have friends that are trustworthy...

no, i cant believe all people.but after chatting so many days and then meeting him and making friendship we may believe him.some people are cheating.so beware of cheaters.u dont cheat anybody.

i tnink ur point of view is absolutely correct..there is an age in which we tend to melt away wid emotions nd our new experiences but its very important to keep control on ourselves so that we arent carried away by our feelings..as an experience chating wid unknown person seems to be very exiting nd thrilling but u never know the intentions and the behaviour of the person.there are 2 pppl in this world foolish and intelligent..intelling guys learn frm mistakes ogf oters..we hav often heard about cases like that..so beware vot u do nd restrict yourself to just friends..

well i dont knwo what to say about this... but i dont hink you should totally and blindly trust the person with whom you are chatting though some of them can actually be genuine and some can be major frauds...well upto the point of chatting its ok but when you start either falling for the guy or girl and start falling in love and stuff and want to meet up with them ..thats when it becomes a danger and i think you shouldnt fall for these traps.... its always a big guess work that you have to do while chatting but if you keep it till chatting and nothing further then its ok

Gosh! I don't know who you've been chatting to, but they must be horrible people! I chat quiet a bit and have some awesome friends online. People online are no different than the people that ya meet in every day life, there will always be some bad ones, but there are also some fabulous ones. Don't stereotype ALL online people by a handful of bad ones that you unfortunately met.. Anyone is capable of lying to you.. no matter where or how you meet them.

I like chatting with other people, but I think it's true that you have to be a little careful. It is possible to find some very good friends on the internet, but some people aren't who they pretend to be. It is very easy to lie in chatroom, because you are anonymous and you can hide behind the computer. I am sure that some people take advantage of this, but there are also a lot of people who are honest and friendly. In the beginning I am very careful not to reveal any personal information about myself and I don't tell people where I live etc. I have met some of the people I have chatted with and some of them have become close friends, but it takes some time to get to know eachother.
