Is ProjectPayday a good way to make extra money or another scam?

I have recently looked into sites that offer a way to make a little extra money and I am wondering if projectpayday is a valid site. I have seen mixed reviews with some people claiming they took the time to complete several offers and didn't get paid. To top it off they said the companies had actually charged their credit cards after saying it would be free until a certain period if you didnt cancel. Other people have said it is working great for them and they have made a significant amount and even won gifts. If the site is ligitimate, do you actually have to give them your credit card info to participate? If so, that would definately raise a red flag with me.
