It's cool to have many languages, as you can see you can talk with many. Currently I know 3 languages. first is my native Cebuano (Cebu, Philippines is where I lived), then tagalog (Philippine national language), third is English.
Currently I'm still building vocabularies with Japanese and I'm planning to study Spanish after.
How about you guys?
Happy Mylotting!

I only know one language fluently: English.
I understand Persian but I wasn't raised speaking the language so I never gained the accent. =( I understand some French but not enough to hold a conversation. I'm strongest with written French, really. Also, after living in the UAE for eleven years, I can understand some sentences and recognize almost all insults, but that's pretty much it. Kind of sad, eh?

English is enough for a language. Eleven years in UAE is enough to learn Arabic. So I think you should include Arabic as second language. That's great. Thanks

Hello Kabayan, I'm also a Filipino like you^^ As of the moment I can speak 6 languages...Cebuano since it's the dialect in my place, Chavacano since I grew up in Zamboanga (Chavacano is a creole language, they use Spanish words with the Visayan and Hiligaynon grammar), Tagalog since it's the national language, English since it's the international language...and Spanish since my ancestors told me to do so. I'm also studying Finnish and Korean as of the moment^^ Nice post by the way, happy mylotting^^

I'm fluent in English and Serbian. I used to be able to understand a little of Russian when I was younger, but I don't anymore. =( I know some French from school, but definitely not enough to understand people when they're talking or say that I can speak it (in a way that others can understand me...) fluently. I'm better at it then Arabic though, which I've been learning for approximately the same amount of time (about 9 years), but am still very poor at and only understand very basic words. xD

Same here. my japanese is very poor in vocabulary. anyway, It depends when it's not used everyday. Practice is very important in learning languages.. and I'm so lazy to do practice. xD
