I personally would not buy Norton. Simply due to past experiences while having Norton installed which, after installing, went away. The only other one I see on the list I even recognize as a top name is Mcafee and it's supposed to be one of the most secure almost to the point of annoying. Maybe the annoyance is what landed them at #7. Either way I have had success in the past with free antivirus software and don't really wan't to take the risk with norton. I may consider some of the others on the list, but doubt it.

Another thing to say is that i make this post for those who are confused for selecting a good antivirus that can secure computer. I read many discussions relating to "which is best antivirus".
So i decide to list them

dont try another software if you are secure with that one you are telling.
Because it depends upon the method we surf internet.
As you are secure so you dont need any other software untill you face a problem ahead

well 2009 didnt even start yet and there are tons of free apss that can take over.
but even if u have the best AV it wont matter if u dnot update it.
so play it safe adn keep updating it

Good work i only use avast antivirus but he has not secured his position in the upcoming year and I am amazed to see norton in the top, i have read many review of norton from many sites and it is written norton has done a great job by increasing scanining speed, not use much resource, quick installation etc. So its going to war between the antivirus to be in top position. So keep posting and happy mylotting
