What do you put on your chips?

I typically buy my chips with salt and vinegar already on them...but that's just me. If I can't find those it's anything spicy. As far as what to PUT on them...i don't know maybe some chip dip? Tortitos with some spicy cheese dip sounds good right about now or even some spicy jalapeno chips...mmm.

I like many different types of dips for my chips. I like bean dip, onion dip, salsa, spinach dip, crab dip, ranch dip, cheese dip.....on the list can go on and on.

salt for sure. just like that. my wife is more adventure with food so she can eat it with a lot of varieties. catsup, mayonaise, vinegar. if you find something new you can even dare her to taste. when it comes to food i can say i am boring.... i am not that adventurous. whether it is chips or other food. i just eat what i think is good. har har har

If I'm eating just plain ol white chips, I'll pour some ketchup on'em because I can't just eat plain chips by themselves, it has a ZERO taste to them. If they are cheddar chips or doritos, I'll eat them as is or dip 'em in some cheddar dip, yum yum. Sour cream and onion chips has to be eaten plain or with sour cream and onion dip. I don't eat much salt, it's too bitter and not to mention bad for my blood pressure. It'll also make my feet puffy. I hate when that happens.

I can assume that chips are the same as french fries right? I put ketchup on my fries. We call crisps chips in the US.

Aren't they made with salt already? If so, then I prefer adding nothing. I used to always have them with ketchup, but I worked on breaking that habit and now I enjoy them plain. Every now and then I'll have ketchup with them again but, most of the time, it's without.

I saw the picture on the discussion so knew you was talking about what we call french fries. I love ketchup and vinegar on my fries. I have had something called garbage fries and man they are just YUMMY!

depends, if they are skinny ones, nothing but nice big fat ones, ketchup

I like the way it is, with just salt.. If i have to add some other favours to my chips, it will either be tomato sauce, chilli, mayonise, tartar sauce or black pepper.. But i will never add vinger to it, because i hate the smell of it.. It's too strong that it will overpower the taste of my chips too.. lol =D Besides, nothing beats the original taste of food, thus if possible, i will just eat it with salt.. haha

Basically I love chips. What I put on them isn't a big issue as long as it doesn't overwhelm the natural taste of the chips. My number one favorite has to be melted cheese. And at the bottom of my list, is ketchup. Somehow I outgrew ketchup along the way to adulthood.

hmm, i've never tried them with vinegar yet but that sounds good too! i like ketchup with a little mayo mixed in with my chips. sour cream, cheese and tartar sauce would be great too :)

I like them with lots of salt. Sometimes I put ketchup on them but they have to have salt for sure. They are good with cheese on them too.

I normally eat mine with salt, pepper, and ketchup. If I am eating at a place called Lion's Choice then I eat them with salt, pepper, and horseradish sauce.

hi, Anne crisps or chips, i like them salty and with ketchup. yum! i also like them with sour cream, cheese and even mustard. but i'm happy with just salt if i cannot have those dips. take care!
