i love to go to the humane society and visit the kitties. they are so precious. the cats that are there are some of the most beatiful cats i have ever seen. it makes you wonder how someone could ever want to get rid of their babies. or do most people not feel that way about their pets. all i can say is , if they don't ,then they should not have a pet to start with. because you have to be able to LOVE first.

I don't know how anyone could give up their pets that way either. it is so sad. I can't go to the humane society as i fear i'd bring all the animals back home with me lol. I luv animals very much cats, dogs-it doens't matter to me. their such sweet little creatures. It breaks my heart to know that some get mistreated it's really terrible.

the best thing i have ever seen is that they use these unloved animals to take to old folks homes so that the unloved can be loved. by taking the animals there they have found that it helps those people in coping with being all but forgotten. not only is it good for the elderly, but for the animals as well. thanx for your response

Awww...yes, thats a wonderful thing. The elderly are sometimes all but fogotten i feel sorry for a lot of them too. What could be better than a visit from a furry friend. Those 4 legged fur balls are such bundles of love. they really can make people feel better how sweet.

When I went to the humane society to get my cat it was hard to pick just one. I remember some of them reaching through their cage as I walked past. It was as if they were saying....here I am take me. It was so sad. I love all animals and have 4 wonderful cats.
