Lulu was having problems today, but I finally got my two latest books on there. I put the Night Stalker book and a poetry book up. I decided to try Night Stalker on there. Some people might like to have a copy they can hold in their hand, and not everyone reads my blog anyway...lol.
If you'd like to see my store front go here: http://stores.lulu.com/angelsharum
I don't get page views or anything for showing it! No affiliate stuff or anything like that.
Please let me know what you think of the stores look if you go to check it out!

I never heard of lulu. It sounds like an interesting site. I guess that I would want to check it out sometime. Congratulations on getting something posted on there. it is
always a good day when you can get something published.

Congrats! I think I'll buy a copy of the book. Does it have all the characters in it?

The Night Stalker story is where I introduced all the characters. Now I am going back and doing each character's story separate. Then I believe I'm going to do another story putting them all back together somehow. Haven't got that far yet. I have a while before I get done with each characters story.
Thanks if you do buy one. I'm just glad people actually like the story!

Hi sunnflr,
I love your store front. It looks wonderful. Do you take your own pics for the cover? I have a question. Does the pic have to be in a certain format? I want to publish a book too, but it needs illustrations and I might need to get someone to have them drawn for me. So I need to know the format accepted at Lulu. Another thing, how are your books doing at Lulu? Do you buy the marketing package they have or promote them yourself? Can you sell your books at Amazon after self-publishing them at Lulu?

Yeah, I use my own photographs and then my son manipulates them with a program called GIMP to make the covers. They accept jpeg and png I know, not sure what else.
I haven't sold anything yet, but I've only really started promoting the store. Also, everything else I have in there is poetry.
I did not do the marketing thing with lulu, but I know a lady that did and she's sold a few at Amazon.
I believe you can do the Amazon thing yourself, you just have to purchase an ISBN. Amazon and other "real" bookstores will only sell books with ISBNs.

Good luck to you, I've not heard of this site before I will have to check it out. So how does this all work?
