Is $0.25 pay per review in ciao is gone?

I received a newsletter fro ciao, with this line "although the $0.25 per review incentive is gone......" Please enlighten my mind about this. I opened all newsletters, yet it did not mention about losing the $0.25 pay per review.

It is clearly stated that Ciao is no longer paying 0.25 cents for every review instead they will be going and pushing through with the Premium Fund that is $2000 to writers with their reviews for the month of November and the best 5 reviews will receive $20 and the rest of the 800 reviews. This would mean that every time you make a review, you are no longer paid of the usual 0.25 cents each instead be counted in the 800 reviews who'll get compensation from Premium fund.

I just read this as well. It annoys me that they are not paying anything for reviews upfront anymore. Looks like I am back to writing for Review Stream. I need to keep writing there anyway. I am up to $25.20 there and would like to cash out sometime!

another mylot members stated that too but when i logged into CIAO a while ago i could not find the announcement. neither did i received any newsletter from them on this. it would not be good for us if the paid rate per review is removed and many members would not be able to earn there. they are only paying to the best 800 or so reviews and each day, there are ten of thousands reviews being written and post and in a month there are hundred of thousands of reviews and they are only paying to 800 which is easily less than 5% of the total so that mean that they will get 95% of the review written for free. I would rather delete my reviews or not write there in the 1st place.
