Is Twitter a part of your business?

Just wondering if any other myLot users are using Twitter as part of their business model. With the Tweets getting indexed and the ability to add tweets for instance from Squidoo, there are huge benefits to using this service. Also, if people enjoy what you have to say, you can grow your follower list and more potential networking contacts. I'm loving it. My twitter ID is in my profile if anyone wants to add me. I return all follows so we can all start networking together.

I hadn't thought of using twitter in this way. I'll have to look into it. Twitter is just something that I have always been interested in, but have yet to try. Who knows maybe some day I'll actually sign up and start using it. I saw somewhere where you can update your twitter, facebook and myspace statuses, as well as some others, all from one place, but the place is slipping my mind.

I've been hearing a lot about twitter lately and it sounds like something I need to check out. I also squidoo and it seems to be invaluable from what I hear to get views to your lenses. If you squidoo, could you please message me with your id there. I will look up your stuff there too. I love it, and as soon as I get my daily blog done I will go check out twitter. Marsha

Yes, I have myself as one of your fans on squidoo. How are you doing there?? I just built my 49th lens. I only made $1.52 this last go around, but I think it's because I didn't realize for quite a while that after the changes you have to mark in each one you build how you want to get paid, or who to donate too. So, I am assuming while that wasn't marked I made nothing on those lenses. Marsha

I was surprised to see just over $150 deposited into my paypal. I have about 80 lenses on 8 different accounts. I use the different accounts for the different niches I'm in. Nice little bonus on top of my affiliate sales. I'm such a fan of Squidoo. It's a shame the eranings went somewhere else, but now that you have that fixed, hopefully you see a big jump!

For those of us who are still struggling with how all this works, can you give an outline of how to use Twitter in conjunction with business? I tried using Digg and Stumble, Facebook, but I really don't get how it works. Thanks

Twitter is simply another method of social networking. Except this time it is done in short sentences. Easy to use for networking.

Twitter seems to be working pretty well for me. I just joined a few days ago. I have over 20 followers now, I don't know how good that is. I posted some of my ehow article links on twitter to see if I would get any hits from it. Still can't tell if it is working. My twitter name is residualagent if you anyone would like to add me. I will gladly start following anyone. Good luck in all your business adventures.

Agent, how did you get all those followers in just a few days??? I just added you and jpetals, so now I am following you both. I saw you asked if anyone can help you improve your ehow article -- not sure if you really wanted advice or if you just wanted more viewers, but I have a bit of advice. I did read it and left you a comment as well as a friend request. I think it is a lot of info, and some of it is interesting but confusing to people who haven't any knowledge or experience in that area. So my advice is that you make some more articles and label them Part 1, 2, etc -- maybe this one I just read would be part 2? That way you could get more articles, more page views, and we could gain more understanding of the subject.

I went to sign up and it said my username was taken so I logged in. Apparently I joined twitter over 2 years ago as the photo was with a boyfriend I've not been with now for over 2 years! Now to see what else I need to do. I am following 3 ppl now but need more! I am marsha32 there as well. Marsha

Check out this webpage. There are over 130 Twitter followers listed on there that you might be interested in following. And you can add yours too. http://www.squidoo.com/twittering

Yeah, like a lot people, I've heard of and keep hearing about Twitter. Most of the prominent internet marketers seem to be using it so it must be useful. I am planning to sign up (along with Squidoo, Hubpages and others) but have other things on the go right now. I will definitely be adding you when I get around to it!

Twittering is much different than using hubpages or squidoo. They all perform their own important role. Hope to see you around soon.
