Thank you for your response, brian_s. I have not tried the Burt's Bees, I hear that it is a good product.

Thank you for your response, caskins. I agree with you about not drinking enough water. I also use vaseline and chapstick. It is helping. Merry Christmas Happy Mylotting, too.

I've heard too that drinking too little water will make your lips dry, as well as your skin. Another thing to remember is that if you use Chapstick or something all the time, that will make it worse, as your body comes to depend on it and won't create the moisture on its own. It could be, also, that the air is dry in your bedroom. Try increasing the humidity and see if that helps. You can buy a portable humidifier or just hang damp cloths around and shut the door to keep the humidity in.

Thank you for your response, peavey. I have not thought about the damp cloths. Since I do not have a humidifier that is a great idea. Have a great day.

My lips do chapped from time to time. I usually get it when I don't drink enough water. Using vaseline definitely helps. Always make sure that the lips stay free from water as water on the lips will evaporate and cause the lips to further chapped.

Thank you for your response. I think that I surely don't drink enough water. I have been trying to drink more. I use vaseline every day and that has been helping. Happy Holidays.
