Your suggestions to improve myLot.....

i like everything about mylot but if there was a icon to show whether a mylotter is online or offline.it would have helped us to communicate better.(i didnt know you were here,until now) happy mylotting.

Good Post! One of my suggestion is - sometimes we inadvertently respond to a post for the second time, not remembering that we had responded it earlier. If we, inadvertently are going to post a response to a discussion for the second time, there should be a system or a mini window to warn as that we have already posted a response to the said discussion. (ii) Also, if our posts are deleted in due course of time, we should be sent an email notification that our such number of posts have been deleted, so we could come to know that there is actual reduction due to deletion of posts. (iii) There should be an option to spell check, in my hurry to post a response, I many times commit silly mistakes, which could be avoided, if there is 'spell check' option. Have a great Evening!!

The number one thing is Mylot can do something about getting the pages loaded up fast. It’s population has grown to a very big level now. They can always select the best discussion of the month and give 10$ to it to encourage more quality discussions. Mylot must find a way to nab and kill the trolls. Mylot must act on the discussion stealers and cheats too. That’s all that came to my mind now.

Of course I love myLot just as it is. If this is a wish list, however, here are some items: I'd really like to be able to put personal notes on our friend list that would be private, so that I could list things for my own reference such as the person's birthday, name of spouse or other friends, relationships between members (such as Sue doesn't like Marge or Bill and George are friends or Jill quite smoking in March). If that is too much trouble, at least it would be nice to sort our friend list in various ways and be able to search for the profiles of friends without having to memorize their screen names.

Hi mimpi!^_^ Well, I have wondered where the "news" section went. With the old layout it was I think below the weather forecast and above the blogs on our mylot homepages. I used to post comments on an article there and I found it quite informative since I dont get to read the newspaper anymore. I post there when Im done with all my friends' discussions and if I didnt find anything interesting in other sections. So a few weeks ago, I was able to clean out my inbox and responded to friends discussions that I havent responded to yet as well as the comments that I got from my responses. I wanted to myLot a bit more but the discussions didnt compel me to respond to them so I looked for the news section. But I couldnt find it. Im suggesting that they bring it back or something. It would make myLot more of a one-stop site. Thats just what I think though.^_^

I know we have that population stats. I want also to know the discussions stats. Like, how many discussions already been made so far? How many are similar discussions? Where the discussions came from? and from what country? and so on. . . . . . And also where some of the solved or closed discussions? Tnx a lot . . . . ^_^

Hello mimpi. I would like to suggest that mylot send us an email notification when one of our responses were deleted so that we get to know in the first place, because there are some times when I saw my posts deducted, but I have no idea what responses or discussions were deleted, however much I consider myself to be careful enough not to respond to discussions that will get eventually deleted. But however careful I have been, still lots of the responses I have made got deleted and I would like to get a notification from mylot about which discussions have been deleted. That would be greatly appreciated if we got notified about it. Thank you for the discussion, mimpi.

I asked for this before, but mylot should put that "tag this discussion" box on the same page where you write your discussion/response/comment. I have fiber optic internet and pages still take about 3 seconds to load here on mylot, so by the time the tag page is loaded I'm so annoyed with waiting to submit my post I never tag. I'd do it a lot more and things would run a lot smoother around there with this little change, plus it would reduce server load. I hope someone at mylot is reading this :).

Hi mimipi! I would like mylot to pay more attention to who and what they are doing! When someone is reported they need to find a better way of finding out if this person is actually doing something against the tos or if it is an act to personally defame someones character or star rating! And when someone is actually doing something wrong they need to take action against that individual promptly and if it continues to be abusive they need to look into the problem and if it is serious enough then ban them! I don't feel that they are paying enough attention to what they are doing and they are deleting discussions from people who are not doing anything wrong and leaving discussions of people who are downright abusive!!!

Hi mimpz! It will be nice if the earning will increased a bit. It will be nice to know also when we lost some posts of which one were deleted, so we can learned from it and try to not respond with the same one again. I know that there is some rules to follow, but sometimes its hard to say because there are some discussion that violated mylot rules, but still stay and receiving a good number of responses. Thanks!

You've gotten several suggestions that I agree with, Mou but one that hasn't been mentioned yet is that I always wished that they have an activity box/link where you can add the discussions that you want to go back to over and over again. There are days I find myself responding a LOT and I find myself spending quite a bit of time going back to or searching for a couple or few discussions that I want to engage in rather than just one reply. I hope I made sense on this one.

Hi Mimpi.....I would very much like mylot to indicate why they are removing our discussions ,so that we will not commit the same mistake again......Their standard comment "this discussion no longer exists due to discussion guide line violation"....does not help us to find out what is the mistake we have made in our discussion... The day I had started a discussion on "Humour therapy".......Its one of the most innocent and straight forward discussions I have ever started,and there were about 35 responses,and one day it disappeared..I just cannot figure out what guide line I had violated......So it would be nice if mylot does something about this..... As you have rightly said there has been a lot said and done and as much we continue mylotting we get used to the way we go about our methods. In general i could think of a few enhancements/improvements 1.An option for a spell checker as we keep making a lot of typos. 2. A few more smileys. 3. Increased speed as i do find the site slow at times. And of course as you had mentioned in one of your ealuier discussions an increased policing of the site to avoid abusive users.

Hi Mimipi, I think the most important thing to be able to see is the whole discussion when answering from email to read other responses before replying, for example someone may have already sugggested this but I will not know until I post this response. What I also think would be good is if I was emailed when someone added an extra comment after their initial response as they only way to see these is to go into discussion started and see if any discussions have had comments added to. I think it would be a good idea for mylot to have a little forum for new members who are still new with the site to explore the site. I think a little chatroom would also be nice for mylotters from around the world to interact. But i think adding those new features would slow down the loading of the site. Anyways it would also be nice if we could have a little activity box where we could be noted if we have new replies to our discussions or posts. Sometimes i find it hard to look for new replies to my comments because there is no way of knowing if there are replies unless we check all our posts individually. I think mylot could still do a little upgrade to the design of the site and add little more features to make it better than usual.

Are you one of the admins at mylot? Well, I like almost everything in mylot but there are a few features that I miss in it. 1 Number of online users not shown 2 We can not edit our messages. 3 We can not delete our messages. 4 Admin does not furnish Who violated What TOS if they delete our discussion. I hope they will take necessary steps to improve it even more,

Earnings improvement first thing! And maybe some sort of background colour. Mylot should also add more variety of emoticons to make things more interesting. And i don't like how interests are added, they're too messy and randomised. But overall it seems they've put in much thought to how this site is set up.

i think `mylot`s link speed should improve maybe there is the location reason , it is not so.... on me if it improvements here , that`s sure good hehe `
