Do you plan on leaving Ciao because of their new changes?

Just for statistical purposes. :) It seems alot are turned off by the plans to remove the $0.25 per review incentive. But me I'm staying I like their new premium fund and hope I can contribute more to the community. I think theres still great opportunity and I believe they are doing all they can to improve their system.

It's a free service with a social networking component that allows you to review products there in aiding potential buyers. You get paid for doing that and now they have plans to reward better reviews, but I think they'll still keep the payments per user rating.

I am not totally leaving Ciao but I can't promise to be active as before. Hey, time is money. Why would I be spending a lot of time on a site that I won't earn much?
And almost all members of Ciao are there for the money principally. Honestly speaking, Ciao should expect a dramatic fall of activities on the site. anyway, I think they choose this path because they could not sustained paying all the reviews coming everyday.

Hey Glitchy!!! Long time no see on here! I think this is a good idea, I feel that more people will be inclined to write better reviews, now that there is a quality quotient to it. I am not a member at this site, but I feel that if everyone is being paid just for the sake of writing a review, then a lot of them were just thrown up there, or even copied from other people in order to make a quick quarter. Now that there is an actual bar to reach before being paid, then that only stands to evidence that more people will write better reviews. Send me your ref link when you get this. I feel that this will also cause people to step up their writing game, and that is something I need to do.

Hey hey! Been awhile. See that's the spirit I'd like to see. :D Ciao keeps on stressing the fact that these are major improvements, yet people left and right here on myLot seem to think of this as an outrage. It just boggles me, why not at least try the new system first and see if you are getting anywhere.
Maybe Ciao is doing this to weed out the members who have different motives which explains why so many people are inclined to leave. Earning money takes some work you know. :)
Besides, your reviews might be picked, don't be brought down. :)
Will send my ref link, I'm still not that active, but I'm picking up on my free time.

Thanks for the best response! I have to comment on what you said though:

This doesn't let me down, it gives me more incentive to join the site. I would be more inclined to both rate reviews and to give them if the content is of better quality! The reason I didn't join long ago is that it seemed rather mindless to me. Write reviews, get a quarter a piece. Now that there is a standard to go by, there is something to aspire to. You aren't writing just for the sake of getting paid, you are honing your writing skills for popularity and comprehension!!! That is a skill that you can use throughout the internet and life! Thanks for the ref link!

I'm not leaving Ciao. I've just posted 3 reviews there now. I guess the new payment system encouraged me (and a lot of people too) to think more about the quality of their reviews rather than than quantity.
Does anyone here know who chooses the best 800 reviews?
And glitch, could you be my friend in Ciao? :) My ciao name's still kaliyha.
