Well, beauty laughs at danger! Hahaha.. Haven't you noticed that people are not really concerned of what is to happen to them for the name of beauty? Plastic Surgeries, Beauty Creams, Face Lifts, and everything else! For the sake of beauty. Have you forgotten the time when in Europe women used to wear corsettes where more often than not, their organs were twisted and wasn't in their proper place just for the sake of having a smaller waistline? How bout in China where they used to wear ceramic shoes in order that their women have smaller feet? Those were all obstructing good health, but who's stopping them? and most for the sake of beauty! So, for the high heeled shoes, they tend to make women sexier and more poised. That doesn't come close to the dangers of corsettes or insane diets!

I have been wearing high heels since I was 18. No problems with my legs feet or back. I have read articles where those flip-flops and sandles are worse and htere is no support of any kind to your foot or ankle. You foot just spreads out and then it is hard to find shoes to fit your fat foot! Your ankles are weak cause they have held up all your weight for so long with no support. YOu have no arch adn ar flat footed. THis is what the article said, and I can vouch as my DIL - now 27 has been in next to nothing but flipflops and sandles all her life and her feet are so fat and shapelss that she can't find any shoe that she can wear comfortably - even tennis shoes don't fit her comfortably. And its all cause she wore nothing but flip flops all her life. So my point is, which is worse? But here in California - I seldom see females in anything but flipflops or sandles - occassionally tennis shoes, but usually nothing but sandle wear - so I ask "where's the cool stylish high heels!?"
