Every year I go to different businesses and ask for a calendar, some of them will give me one and some will ask me if I am one of their regular customers. If I answer no they will tell me that they don't have that many just enough to give to their regulars. I try to get a least 2 calendars for the following New Year. I always end up with those two. I have waited to long and the businesses I frequent the most will have given out. I do not buy a calendar. I make family calendars on my computer with family birthdays and pictures on them too. Do you buy your calendars or do you get them free?

I like to buy a calendar that's really interesting to look at cause i'm gonna use it for a whole year so why not get a nice one. I don't like free ones cause they look so dull and some very old-fashion. But my calendar is cheap though, i wouldn't spend much on a calendar.

I have bought one for about a $1 before some business said since I wasn't a regular customer I could get it for that amount. I was in a good mood that day.

I buy one and then I get at least two more from different business's.. I forget and look for one in December, without thinking that I will be getting a few of the free ones, now I have 3 calenders.. I did get one when I paid my utility bill and another one, the nicest one, from a jewelry store when I was shopping.. I never had found one at a jewelry store before, but I did this year and I like it the best..

I buy my calendars every year. Usually it is something that Shelly will like, like pictures of her favorite baseball team.

I don't buy calendars. SO many different places and businesses give them away that it seems like a total waste to buy them. I have given some as gifts before that I had to buy but only because that is what the person wanted. I usually end up with 5 or six different little pocket calendars that I never use anyway so there is really no reason to spend money on them.

We usually buy ours from somewhere cheap. Sometimes my son will give us one from his work. One year the UPS man gave us one. This year we haven't gotten any yet. I can't believe it's getting that time of the year already.

We already have two or three from businesses, and hubby's sister always sends us several. I have calendars I have never even opened. She gets some free from charities she contributes to, or she gives a donation and gets them.

I don't normally buy them. I usually get them for free or I get them as a gift. My sister gave me one last year that had a different cake recipe for every month. It was a really nice one to look at.

I rarely buy calendars. I usually receive a free one in the mail or get one from local businesses. I have on occasion bought a calendar as a gift for someone because it was something I thought they would enjoy. But seeing how so many people give them out for free, I see no need to spend hard earned money on one.

My husband's company always sends us a calendar. They have kids draw safety pictures for each month so that's what's on them. They send them in the mail. We should get one soon.

I normally just get the free calendars. I'm not worried about whether or not they look fancy or what pictures are on them. I'm not a picky type of person anyway. Happy MyLotting!

I do get some for free but I don't ask for them. I sometimes get them in the mail from local churches. Sometime from our car insurance agent. I usually buy them though. We also get a free one from his son's school every year.

I don't buy calendars. I usually get my calendars from my work place or from my family. Usually there is one lying around the house or somewhere at the mall. People distribute them as a promotion and so I get them then. However, if there is a really nice calendar, I just find myself purchasing it.

I do not buy calendars. I live in a small town and the businesses here always give calendars to us regulars. Last year, I ended up with five big beautiful calendars! Amazing! Anyway, I don't think I will be just as lucky this year. The businesses here are cutting back on these things and most of them are giving smaller calendars this years.

This year I got one for free from a gas station. It's got animals on it and I don't mind that. Usually when I have a few extra bucks then I will buy a nice one that I really enjoy or hope I get one for a christmas present. I love calendars with huge squares where the numbers of the months are. I am one who writes a lot on them and find that I don't have enough space half the time. Have a great evening

Hi chevee! I have sent away for some on the websites in the freebies and have received two of them. One was from Easter Seals and is very pretty. I also always like to have ones with cats so I bought one at the $1 store. Then I saw another one with animals at the dollar store and bought that one too. And I think I have another one somewhere so now I have too many! I also bought one small appointment book for my handbag to keep with me so when I make my appointments I can write them down right away. Then I bought a larger one to keep at my desk so that I can see the whole month at a glance so maybe I will remember what I am supposed to be doing without messing up next year!
