Food is the most important commodity. Do you think so? We use it much more than anything else every single day. In fact three to four times a day. It is the reason why if we know how to budget our money with food we can really save a lot. As we search for stores and coupons to save some money, it is also important to stick to one store instead of a lot of stores. This way it will help you save gas too.As the economy continues to plunge it is important to be frugal. How frugal are you? What stores do you prefer to shop?
My family loves to shop a cheap grocery store like Aldi's. It has most of the food we need and not only that it is very cheap too. Did you know that Aldi's has stores in Australia, Austria, Belgium,, Denamark, France, Germany and many other Europian countries? It's an international store. How about you, which grocery store do you go?

I go to Giant. It's the cheapest grocery store here (Northern VA) but I'm from southern VA and my parents go to the commissary there since my dad is retired military. I wish food wouldn't get so expensive :/. My boyfriend and I are trying to save some $$ by buying generic brands too, but still it all adds up to a lot. But it is DEFINITELY a lot cheaper than eating out all the time.

Yes, I agree with you. It is right that you can save a lot eating food at home than going out. We are also trying to cut out the habit of eating out. I dont have any idea what giant is. I'm not sure if we have a store like that around here.;-)

I go to Aldi's about once a month to stock up on some of the essentials that I need for the month. Mostly though I do most of my grocery shopping at walmart. It is the easiest for me since it is so close to my house and it is also the cheapest but I do live near where walmart got its start so there are many stores that are close to me and not to many regular grocery stores anymore.
