I've not heard that yet for I was absent from Ciao yesterday! It seems Ciao has become so popular and overpopulated. It is loaded with so many reviewers and finding it hard to cope with how they could pay all of them. The result is cutting down on payments they made to reviewers. This is a sad news for Ciao members. I think I have to go to Ciao now to see for myself that new announcement. Thanks friend for letting me know.

Now I understand my friend. This is Ciao's way of screening their reviewers. Maybe they noticed the tremendous increase of reviewers and hence they were alarmed with the equally tremendous increase in payments they have to make. Now they are in a way encouraging quality reviews only. Those who make poor reviews have no chances of earning anymore. This means many will leave Ciao for lack of incentive. But those who really are good reviewers will make bigger money at Ciao. It will decrease their population but those who make quality reviews will remain and will make good money.

Yaa i think it is their purposes in changing their payment rules, but from 800 reviews only 5 will be paid, it sounds really tough they already made the new announcement again, and still i confused with it

It is funny how a few weeks ago everyone loved and chanted the name CIAO. Now you all hate them I saw it comming because they had done the same with their other websites for different European countries so i'm not suprised. The takeover by Microsoft has necessitated it in my opinion. So no more reviews for money

It means they won't pay us for every review anymore, but instead they will consider some writers' reviews and pay the best. It would be like a contest. I'm a bit disappointed with their new system, although I find it a challenge. I think I will stay active there for a while and see how it goes. Of course, I managed to request payout last week. I have $5 to expect from them in the second week of December. Well, with all of this, we all have ourselves to blame, or at least those that posted horrible reviews just to earn $0.25

I don't like that ciao stopped paying for the reviews. They used to offer 1 dollar per review, than it was 25 cents a review, and now they don't even pay you for a review. I heard there is a fund and if you have the best review, you could get a share of it. Not sure how that works though or who votes for it.
