Do you think it's a good time now to start on currency investment??

It's the time of an economic downturn. Currency prices are dropping drastically (well, except for some). Do you actually think that currency investment is a good choice now?? I know that it is said that it's predicted that next year, the economy will drop further. But everything is impermanent, and i'm sure this also means that with time, the economy will also rise back up again. What's your say??
