I'm going to have to go with Karl Malone as he worked so hard as a ball player. His team John Stockton also really deserved one. Alot people would probably say Charles Barkley deserves one more but in my opinion its his big mouth that gets the attention he derserves. Karl Malone worked harder than Barkley and Stockton also worked harder than Barkley. Let us not forget Patrick Ewing who also deserved to win a nba ring but failed to do so.

The one best NBA player that deserved a NBA championship but never failed to do so would be Karl Malone with John Stockton like you mentioned. Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, and Reggie Miller are honorable mention. Before last year, I would say Kevin Garnett, but he got his ring. In active players, it is probably Tracy McGrady and Lebron James.

Houston Rockets could have been a very strong team for T-Mac but
unfortunately injuries really hurt them, he may follow what Kevin
Garnett did.

I agree with you on Malone and Stockton. Utah wasn't always such a great team, but those two guys made them into contenders and showed incredible loyalty to that franchise. Then Malone finally left the Jazz at the very end of his career to try to get a ring only to have his Lakers to come up short in the finals -- that's just agonizing. Another name I'd throw out there is Dikembe Mutombo, one of the best defensive centers I've ever seen. He's planning to try one more time for a ring this season, possibly with Boston, but even if he fails I think he's had a great career (2nd in blocks all-time, multiple DPOY winner). An interesting fact about all three of these guys is that they all played well as old men by basketball standards...Malone could probably still be playing if he wanted.

It's hard to argue against Karl Malone. He had his opportunities but unfortunately he ran into Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Steve Kerr and the rest of the bulls. I am only 19 years old right now, so i don't have that expansive of a knowledge base for past players. Anything before the mid 90's I do not know too much about. It just seems odd that such a good pick and roll combination like Malone and Stockton were never able to get that NBA Finals championship. At least they're enshrined in the HOF.

I think the one NBA player who really deserves a championship and never got one is Steve Nash. He was the best point guard in the league, back to back MVPs but the one thing he never got was the championship. I don't think he will ever get it.

i still think the combination of karl malone and john stockton deserved to win an nba championship more then anyone. i could understand somewhat if we were comparing steve nash to just one player such as karl malone or john stockton but with malone, stockton together with the jazz really deserved it in my opinion. they worked to hard together to not at least have one championship together in their careers. as far as current active players i would have to say its a tie between steve nash and Dirk Nowitzki of who deserves to win a championship the most.

I would have to agree with you on all the ones you've said so far, as of current players that I think deserve an NBA championship I would have to say Amare Stoudemire and Steve Nash. Those two seem to work incredibly hard every year but always seem to get beat by the Spurs, but I think one day they will get it.
