san diego 1987-late 1990

I lived in San Diego from 9/87- 12/90 while serving in the US Navy.. it was a wonderful place to live from age 18-21. Could not of asked for a more Happening place.. I was wondering if anyone is living in San Diego now who could fill me in as the changes which have been made since 1990 to San Diego in general because my Sister has told me that she visited within the last 5 years and said that there is so much growth that I would not recognize it.. I lived on Broadway in CHULA VISTA.. anyone familiar with chula vista or 32nd street Naval Station area???? I also lived a few blocks east of broadway in a beautiful new condo. I think on 3rd ave.. not sure... its been so long. :)
